Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Galerida, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, you should not use our service.

Relationship with Bluesky and AT Protocol

Galerida is built on the Authenticated Transfer Protocol (AT Protocol), an open decentralized protocol. Our service operates independently but is designed to interoperate with Bluesky and other AT Protocol implementations.

By using Galerida, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Your use of Galerida is also subject to Bluesky's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, as the AT Protocol network is shared with Bluesky and other services.
  • Content you post on Galerida may be visible to users on Bluesky and other AT Protocol services, and vice versa.
  • Bluesky's terms of service, community guidelines, and content moderation policies apply to your activity on the AT Protocol network.

No Warranty and Limitation of Liability

No Warranty. GALERIDA IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.

No Responsibility for AT Protocol Content. Galerida provides no warranty and takes no responsibility for content provided through the AT Protocol. The AT Protocol is a decentralized, open network. Content hosted, transmitted, or processed through the AT Protocol network is beyond our control. We do not endorse, guarantee, or assume responsibility for any content, communications, or information provided by users on the AT Protocol network, including content from Bluesky or other PDS (Personal Data Server) operators.

Limitation of Liability. IN NO EVENT SHALL GALERIDA, ITS OPERATORS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM (i) YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICE; (ii) ANY CONTENT POSTED ON THE AT PROTOCOL NETWORK; (iii) ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE AT PROTOCOL NETWORK.

User Conduct

You agree not to use the service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe upon the rights of any third party
  • Post harmful, abusive, harassing, or hateful content
  • Distribute malware or other malicious code
  • Engage in spamming or unsolicited advertising
  • Impersonate any person or entity

Intellectual Property

The Galerida service, including its design, functionality, and underlying technology, is protected by intellectual property rights. You retain ownership of content you post but grant us license to host and transmit such content as necessary to provide our service.

Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. Please note that by using the AT Protocol, your data may also be processed by other service providers in the network, subject to their respective privacy policies.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Galerida at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these terms.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of Galerida after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify users of any material changes to these terms.
